Our goal in our Jr. High ministry at PBCC is to become Transformed ToHus which means looking more and more like Jesus everyday.  To that end, we desire to serve and show the same kind of compassion that He showed to the less fortunate.  Therefore, we have begun sponsoring students in Africa (Liberia) for $35/month.  The $35 covers 4 things:  discipleship, education, food and medical care.  These students will be sponsored through an organization called VisionTrust (http://www.visiontrust.org/ ).  Our plan at PBCC is for each Jr. High grade to sponsor a student (in the same grade) and continue sponsoring that student until they graduate from high school.  Consequently, our goal is for each Jr. High grade to raise $35/month for their sponsored student.  These are our students:
