Here's the annual spring update from me. We've mailed it to our incoming parents/students, but I figured you 'veterans' could find it here. I hope you are finding some time to rest during this busy time of year. Thank you for being a part of our JH ministry at PBCC!
Waves of Grace,
Shawn

Mark May 23rd on your calendar for a SPLEND-TASTIC day of FUN!! We will go to Las Palmas park (850 Russet Drive) in Sunnyvale at 12:00, eat some hams and hots, play some games and finish with a baptism (probably around 3:00) at the Belton's house (adjacent to the park - there is a gate into their back yard from the park). The cost is only $5!! If you have placed your trust in Jesus and would like to tell the world, how about getting baptized that day? If you’re interested, talk to a staffer. Check out all the info here. Don't forget to RSVP by May 19th.

Join us on April 23, from 6:00 – 9:30 for a SUPER AWESOME fundraiser and service project! We will be raising money for our VisionTrust students and doing a service project for InnVision, a women’s shelter in downtown San Jose. This is how it will work:
- Collect clothes to donate to the shelter [they will take any clothes (men, women or children’s) in excellent condition].
- Then, ask a friend or family member to contribute $5 for every pound of clothes you collect (or you can just ask for a set amount). We will weigh your clothes on April 23 before heading to InnVision (or you can weigh them at home).
- The service project at InnVision (7:00-9:00) will consist of a clothing sort, some painting and possibly some small cleanup activities around the facility.
- On the 23rd, please bring your permission slip, the clothes, $5 for pizza and the donated $$ if you have it. Make sure to wear warm clothes that you can get dirty.
- Parents pick up at the church at 9:30.
Download the fantabulous flyer here, the permission slip here and the pledge sheet here.

It's time for our annual 'Do Ducks Have Lips?' night at Valley Fair!! It's an awesome time of asking innocent shoppers that question, and searching high and low for our Jr. High Staffers. Great prizes will be given for students who find all staffers by the time limit. We will be meeting outside of Nordstrom's next to the ebar cappuccino shop at 7:30 on March 26th. I will be there the entire night to provide the home base for students and parents. Parents should pick up at the same location at 9:15. Bring extra money for snacks. Parents - we can use your help to chaperone this event. Please let us know if you can help. RSVP on our RSVP page, but if you forget to, just show up! Read all the info here (no permission slip is necessary - just show up).
