It's time for our annual 'Do Ducks Have Lips?' night at Valley Fair!! It's an awesome time of asking innocent shoppers that question, and searching high and low for our Jr. High Staffers. Great prizes will be given for students who find all staffers by the time limit. We will be meeting outside of Nordstrom's next to the ebar cappuccino shop at 7:30 on February 10th. I will be there the entire night to provide the home base for students and parents. Parents should pick up at the same location at 9:00. Bring extra money for snacks. Parents - we can use your help to chaperone this event. Please let us know if you can help. RSVP on our RSVP page, but if you forget to, just show up! Download the flyer here.

Are you ready for some wild and crazy fun in the snow (there will be snow...)?? Then, come along with us on our annual trip to Hume Lake. A weekend camp that has it all – great speaker, great music, broomball, ice skating, foosball, snow-boarding, paint-balling, inner tubing and much, much more - including the annual box sled blitz. Let's see if we can win the trophy back this year!! Cost is $225. Space is limited so get your forms and money in by Sunday, February 19, to secure your spot. Full or partial scholarships are available. Contact Shawn with any questions.
Note that Hume Lake Medical Release Forms must be filled out on-line by parents. When you RSVP on our web-site, we will need your valid email address to submit to Hume to start this process. Hume will then contact you with the info. Please do not pay Hume any money though - all money comes into PBCC. Please let us know if this is a problem. (Your PBCC Permission Slip and $$ still need to be turned in to the church by Feb 19.)

Ready for some BIG FUN WHILE SERVING?? Join us for our November JAM - it is a service project and a fast. The service project is a rake-n-run around the church neighborhood and the fast is to raise money for our VisionTrust students. Download the flyer here. Here are the three easy steps:
1. Pass out Flyers: During the 2nd service on Sunday, 11/6, we will walk around our church neighborhood and pass out flyers regarding our Rake-N-Run on Nov 13. RSVP on-line by Nov 3 if you can help with this step. Meet in the JH room at 10:00 and bring $2 for an ICEE at Q Mart.
2. The Fast: Figure out how much it costs to feed you per day. Contribute that amount plus ask your parents, friends, extended family, etc, if they will ALSO donate that amount. Begin the fast after lunch on Saturday, November 12. Whenever you feel hungry, pray for your sponsored student. Download pledge sheets here.
3. Break the Fast + A Beautiful Day: After 2nd service on November 13 (~12:00), we will all break the fast together with pizza in the youth room. At around 12:30, we will begin walking around the neighborhood raking people’s yards (and helping the high schoolers wash windows). We will all meet back at PBCC around 3:30 for ice cream. Parents should pick up students at church at 4:00. Bring $5 for pizza, rakes, gloves and your donations that day. Also, RSVP on-line before Nov 10 for this step. Thanks!
